About the CT Series Jaw Crusher
Jaw crushers sit at the primary stage of a crushing plant, so every liner in the chamber works against coarse, high-impact feed. The wear parts for this family are the fixed and swing jaw dies, the cheek plates that protect the chamber sides, the toggle assembly that carries the crushing force, and the wedges and clamping bars that hold the dies in position.
Because the jaw chamber is the first place rock is reduced, jaw plates are the fastest-wearing item in the plant. Profile choice (corrugated, quarry tooth or heavy tooth) together with the manganese grade controls both the throughput and how evenly the dies wear, so most operators keep more than one profile on the shelf.
Wear parts we supply for the CT Series Jaw Crusher
- Fixed jaw plate / stationary jaw die — Mn13Cr2 · Mn18Cr2 · Mn22Cr2
- Swing jaw plate / movable jaw die — Mn13Cr2 · Mn18Cr2 · Mn22Cr2
- Cheek plates (upper / lower) — Mn13Cr2
- Toggle plate, toggle seat, toggle beam — Mn13Cr2 / ductile iron
- Jaw wedges, clamping bars, tension rods — mild steel / Mn13Cr2
- Corrugated · quarry tooth · heavy tooth · multi-tooth profiles — cast to drawing or part number
Casting materials
| Material | Character | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| Mn13Cr2 | Work-hardening manganese, good toughness | General quarry and recycling duty, cheek plates, chamber liners |
| Mn18Cr2 | Higher manganese, better resistance to heavy impact | Primary jaws, cone liners on coarse feed, gyratory mantles |
| Mn22Cr2 | Highest toughness of the manganese range | Large primary liners where impact is severe |
| Cr26 / Cr20 (high chrome) | High abrasion resistance, lower toughness | Blow bars, VSI tips and anvils, fine-crushing chambers |
| Bronze | Bearing grade, machined | Eccentric bushings, socket liners, thrust and step washers |
Material is chosen from the feed size, the rock type and the amount of uncrushable material in the stream — tell us how the current liners fail (worn out, cracked, or deformed) and we will match the grade.
How to order
- Send the machine model and part number, or your own drawing, measured sample or photos with dimensions.
- We confirm the profile, material and weight, then quote — FOB Ningbo or Shanghai for sea freight, with an air option for urgent stops.
- Patterns: a large pattern library is already on hand; where there is no pattern we make one (3D-printed pattern with a machined mould).
- Pouring, heat treatment and machining are carried out in our own foundry, then the parts are inspected against the drawing before packing.
FAQ
Can you supply both the fixed and the swing jaw in one set?
Yes. Jaw dies are normally quoted as a set (fixed + swing) so the profiles match, but single pieces are shipped just as often when only one side is worn out.
Which jaw profile should I choose?
Corrugated is the general-purpose choice for mixed quarry feed, quarry tooth is used where the feed is blocky and slippage is a problem, and heavy tooth suits large, abrasive primary feed. Tell us the feed size and rock type and we will recommend a profile.
Do you also make the toggle plate and cheek plates?
Yes — cheek plates, toggle plates, toggle seats and the jaw wedges are all cast in the same foundry, so a chamber can be supplied as a complete kit instead of one piece at a time.
